Arsenal striker Eduardo da Silva suffered a horrible injury resulting from a tackle by Birmingham's Martin Taylor. The incident took place just 2min into the game. Taylor was probably the fastest player to be sent off in a game in the history of EPL (English Premier League).
After being treated on the pitch for 8min, he was sent to Selly Oak Hospital for further treatment, and a possible surgery. Commentary on live-TV confirmed that his lower left leg was broken.
The Brazil-born Croatia star looks to miss out the rest of his season plus Euro 2008.
